History

Four Leaf Energy, Inc. is a women and minority owned, Chester County, Pennsylvania based energy conservation corporation.  We were founded in March of 2008 by the original “Four” partners of Four Leaf Energy and we officially incorporated in the state of Pennsylvania on July 1, 2008.

In the beginning, we offered only one energy conservation product and we operated out of multiple home offices.  We utilized email, electronic document management software, and a sophisticated phone routing software system to minimize our costs as well as our impact on the environment.

Today we offer dozens of products and services in 24 states and our corporate offices are located in Exton, PA.  We have over 30 dedicated staff, sales associates, electricians, and energy consultants ready to help our customers save money.

The Founding “Four”

Janet Raimondo, Co-President –  As one of the founders and a co-President of Four Leaf Energy, Janet brings more than 25 years sales experience, along with her expertise in marketing, management, business development, recruiting, and team building.  Few things are more central and important to a business owner’s success than managing their operating costs.  Because Janet comes from 3 generations of entrepreneurs and business owners, she appreciates and understands this.  While keeping her client’s best interests at heart, her goal is to always help her customers find a cost-effective and cost-efficient solution.  That’s why Janet takes pride in her high level of customer service and care that she provides to her clients, along with a consultative approach to problem-solving and project management. 

Janet’s attention to detail and resourcefulness allows her to provide her clients with solutions that will ultimately lower their operational costs and improve their bottom line.  This in turn, allows her to develop loyalty and long-term relationships.  Janet believes in keeping her clients happy by providing them with the best value for the products and services they receive.

Janet is very active in the local community and is a member of several different Chambers and networking groups in the Tri-State area.  She also continues to be involved with a number of local charitable organizations and events.

Renee O'Brien, Co-President – Renee is an original founder and co-president of Four Leaf Energy. With diverse experience in technology, software sales and direct sales, her 20-year career spans various industries such as telecommunications, distribution, technology, energy, marketing and print media. Her small-business prowess was featured on both MSN Money and the Wall Street Journal and she was ranked #5 in Startup Nation’s Hot 100 Home-Based Businesses.   She has a reputation as an award-winning presenter and elite network marketing expert, managing people both locally and across the globe. Her candid, up-close interactions with both small to medium sized business owners AND Fortune 100 companies have made her a sought-after speaker and team leader.

George Mathews, Vice President of Sales – As co-founder of Four Leaf Energy, George brings over 30 years of sales and sales management experience to the organization.  George exudes and instills confidence throughout his entire team and sales force to maximize their potential and personal growth. He previously built and ran the sales team for a multi-million dollar company and increased their sales by nearly 100%.  He is a highly focused and seasoned sales recruiter, educator, sales manager, and team builder. 

He is cut  from the proverbial ‘philosophic cloth’ that states; “people don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.”  To that end, George attributes the company’s success to the fact that “Doing the right thing for your client is most important for long term sustainability and will always pay you dividends.”  He is not only an expert presenter on training sales techniques and philosophies, but he is also a highly dynamic and an inspirational coach and trainer.  He has been a successful entrepreneur and visionary for most of his life.  George was founder and CEO of a successful general contracting company for 17 years and sees unlimited potential in the Energy industry. 

Shawn O'Brien, Vice President of Operations – Shawn brings over 25 years experience in technology, software development and implementation, consulting, service management, operations, and sales to the team.  He built and managed a multimillion dollar nationwide consulting firm where he deployed and managed industry consulting experts throughout the US, UK, and Australia.  He is an expert on service, software and technology, with many technology and industry certifications from Microsoft, Citrix, Lean, and Six Sigma.  He is an expert presenter specializing in delivering unique and engaging presentations to Fortune 100 & 500 companies and large groups.  Shawn is also a founding member of the team and leads the operations and technology organization here at Four Leaf Energy.
